There is much to tell. DJ Ufuk starting spinning the wheels of steel in 1988. He and his school friend
Norman Feller a. k. a. Terry Lee Brown Jr. rocked various parties. During this time they met Tom
Wax, amongst others. First demo tapes started to turn into serious music. With the support of Tom
Wax A&R of Influence Records, Music Research they got their first record deal.

In 1993 Norman a. k. a. Terry Lee Brown Jr. and Ufuk released their first record. The record
immediately climbed to the top of the techno charts and was a favorite for top DJs such as Sven
Väth in Omen, in the Dorian Gray, even reaching clubs in England. The project “Probe” was
the kick-off for their own productions.
In the years 1993-1996 numerous hits were released
on “Suck me Plasma”, “Overdrive”, “Cool Summer Cuts”, “Influence” and many more. Projects:
Artificial Flavour, Bassdroppers, Deanna Troi, Dj Ufuk, Morpheus7, Probe, Surface etc. In 1996
DJ Ufuk and Helmut Apel (Abfahrt – composer of Come into my life) remixed several titles for no.
1 hit artist Captain Jack (1996 GOLD for Captain Jack). In the years 1997-1999 titles were only
produced for the project DJ Ufuk (Universal Rec., Phuture Wax, Reef Rec.)

The year 2000 brought the breakthrough with R2D2 (Phuture Wax)! The title was sold into
numerous countries such as the Netherlands, France, Italy and Belgium.
The TomWaxRemix can be
found on many Live-Street-Parade-Samplers. In 2001 R2D2 climbed to no. 1 of the radio DJ charts
in Australia. It was released on more than 90 samplers from Africa to Asia! It was also produced as
a maxi CD ;-). “Even I don’t have the maxi CD” Ufuk adds.

DJ UFUK = electronic music since 1988. Dorian Gray Flughafen Frankfurt, Loft Ludwigshafen,
Cafékesselhaus Darmstadt were three of the best-known resident DJ Clubs in Germany where Ufuk
regularly rocked the clubs
